Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday visited Kalyani area under his Banamalipur constituency where at least 7 shops were caught fire and burned into ashes on Thursday last.
Chief Minister accompanied by the officials of the state administration during the visit has assured of assisting the shop owners financially. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 75000 to each shop owner whose shops were fully burnt and also pitched to get Mudra Loan for them so as to kick start their business again.
According to the report the shops were caught fire from a short circuit on Thursday evening triggering a hefty loss for the shop keepers.
