Situation of Teliamura town became tensed due to clash between two groups of ruling party on the open street over submission of tender. Commuters of the street witnessed running with lathi on the open main road.
In the incident some members of both the groups injured. However police and CRPF deployed to control the situation. Sign board of R.D. Department also destroyed in the incident.
Sources said that tender submission for bricks, sand, wood and paint for R.D. department was going on today. Local sources alleged that some motivated leaders of BJP’s Teliamura Mandal adopted mafia raj to continue negotiation. But another group of BJP did not accept their dominance and brought the R.D. office under their captivity.
The mafia group prevented another group when the group members went to submit tender at 2-30 p.m. They snatched the tender form and torn it. On this incident scuffle started between both the groups. Later they started to hit one another with lathi.
But police administration did not take any precautionary measure although they had information about the incident. The scuffle started after visiting of SDPO with police from RD office. Again police and CRPF appeared at the spot dispersed both the groups.
Meanwhile the commuters started running haphazardly to save themselves from clash. One group filed complaint at R.D. office and Teliamura Police Station on spoiling the tender form. The deprived group raised demand to recall the tender.
However situation remained tensed after the incident and local people apprehending about more clash between two groups of ruling party.
