200 Battalion BSF organized civic action programme at Sarasima BSF Camp yesterday to perform their responsibility towards society when they are engaged in protection of border of country.
Local MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmik inaugurated the programme in presence of DIG Gokulnagar Sector Brijesh Kumar and Commandant of 200 Battalion Dipak Tiwari, SP of South district Jal Singh Mina and others.
As a part of civic action the battalion donated stature, wheel chair, and different medicines to three Primary Health Centres. Besides 200 Battalion donated two each dustbins to authority of 12 schools and all items of SSC training to 24 boys.
All guests and invitees appreciated the initiative of the battalion. The officials of the battalion assured to organize such programme in days to come.
