Centre decides to floor Rs. 80 lacs to every villages in Tripura, says CM

AGARTALA:

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Wednesday said, "Modi government at the centre has decided to floor Rs. 80 lakhs to every village for developmental works under the Gram Swaraj Yojana." Chief Minister was addressing a gathering at Agartala during the BJP organised victory rally of recently held Panchayat by-elections.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb along with the Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma, state education and law minister Ratan Lal Nath and other BJP party workers remained present in the programme.

"Once the village and rural pockets of this state are developed, the Tripura shall come up with corruption free state," adding to this the Chief Minister further said, "Moving at par with the centre, the Tripura government is committed towards building up the state's rural pockets and mounting effort to make every villagers of this state self-reliant"

Meantime, the Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma while addressing the gathering today has blamed the previous Left front government over their failure to generate employment and implement the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The Deputy Chief Minister also said that in the present days the CPI-M is no where seen opening up with Lenin Stelin other than the BJP's Vision Document which signifies the BJP-IPFT government success towards building up the state.
