The authority of Charilam H.S. School announced partial result of annual exam for class –VII and IX under pressure of media today.
Sources said that today was the date announcing result from class-VI to IX although other schools declared result earlier. For that purpose the students and guardians assembled at the school since morning today. Observing late in declaration of result the guardians wanted to know the reason from Headmaster Dilip Chandra Das.
The headmaster said that the negligence of the authority was the reason behind late in publishing result. However the school authority agreed to declare the name of first, second and third rank holders of each class but marksheet would not be provided today. Observing the situation the some guardians informed media. Arriving at the school the media persons found truth behind the allegation of guardians. Meanwhile some students of class-VII went back to their house.
Later, under pressure of media the headmaster said that the school would declare the name of first ten rank holders of each class. The result of students will be declared on January 1 in 2019 in presence of guardians who got less than 150 marks and mark sheet will be provided after getting signature of guardians. A source said that one of the school teacher failed to check the History paper of students. But the headmaster tried to suppress the matter.
At last the school authority declared the result of first 10 students after checking their papers under pressure of guardians and media today.
At the same time the school authority declared the marks of students instead of declaring grade. It proved the degree of negligence of the school authority. Meanwhile the people of Charilam complained against the school authority during visit of Education minister Ratan Lal Nath.
