BSF 130 No Battalion donated different items including 34 water tanks among people of 8 villages at hilly area of Malda Kumar Para at remote area of Dhalai district as a part of civic action programme with financial assistance of Home department of Central Government yesterday.
Among the other items the authority of 130 No Battalion distributed weighing machine, blood sugar and blood pressure measuring machine, two wheel chairs for senior citizens. The battalion repaired and painted old building of Malda Kumar Para S.B. School with their own expense. The battalion also prepared badminton court and donated racket and flower for students of the school.
DIG of BSF Teliamura Sector Baby Josef, Commandant of 130 No. Battalion Dr. Ram Kumar and other officers handed over the items at a programme on February 13.
