A delegation team of BJP raised particular allegations about manipulation in voters list after direct meeting with SDM and Returning Officer of Sonamura subdivision today. Additional SDM Ashim Saha was also present during the meeting. The delegation team increased the number of complains which they lodged before two representatives of R.O. on Saturday last.
Speaking to the BJP delegation R.O. said, “Investigation has been started after getting complain on Saturday. Meanwhile many show cause notices have been served to many BLOs. In spite of that the BJP delegation increased number of complains and said, “BLOs have not worked impartially and properly and they are also not doing the work properly right now. Most of them have patronized the ruling party.”
Naturally the question raised how many fake voters name have remained hidden among 1,63,237 voters under Sonamura and Dhanpur constituency. Meanwhile experienced section of people suspected that at least five to eight percent illegal voters are still in the voters list whose names remained in the list during last few years. The large numbers of fake voters have remained in the voters list due to manipulation of politicians, administration and BLOs who have the vital role in the poll process.
Moreover the delegation alleged that similar numbers of legal Indian voters have been deleted illegally which is nearly equal to the number of illegal voters who are still prevailing in the voters list. BLOs are responsible for that who worked in politically biased manner on being engaged for preparing impartial voters list. Consequently the Election department lost its dignity. The R.O. became like helpless in front of question of BJP delegation.
Meanwhile the BJP delegation informed R.O. that there are many illegal voters in the voters list out of few thousands of illegal names whose name already came under scanner. They demanded to delete all illegal names from the voters list. Otherwise BJP would not let the administration to conduct assembly poll in the state. On necessity election will be held after rectification of voters list. It will be a respect towards democracy of the country.
BJP also criticized Congress for remaining without any reaction about inclusion and deletion of names from the voters list and for helping to conduct the poll with illegal voters list in 2013.
