The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the poll bound state of Tripura on Saturday said that it would write to CBI soon to investigate Chief Minister Manik Sarkar directly in much rocked rose valley scam case which looted crores of money from the common masses of this state.
This has come up while the BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman was addressing a press conference here at BJP party office today.
Barman said, "We would soon write to CBI attaching all necessary evidences and documents against Manik Sarkar proving that he has direct link with the rose valley chit fund company."
"The investigation by the government constituted SIT cannot be tolerated anymore and we cannot trust on this as the SIT has not investigated Manik Sarkar and other Ministers who were directly involved with the chit fund company despite the fact that this were already probed," Barman said today.
However, Barman later talking tough on Manik Sarkar has said that the BJP after writing to CBI would further demand to arrest Sarkar.
