The CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar on Monday rubbishing the allegation brought up by the BJP parliamentary team against the state government here has alleged, “The BJP is simply creating political terror all over the nation since the government has sat on power at the centre.”
“The allegation made by the parliamentary team in their two days visit to the state is baseless and false.” Adding to this Dhar said, “All the political clashes and incidents that took place recently is discovered by the BJP and it’s brought up friends of IPFT.”
Dhar was addressing a press conference here at Agartala party office at Melarmath.
He said, “Several number of CPI-M’s party offices were being vandalized in the recent past in different incidents across the state by the BJP and the IPFT and are trying to create unrest in the state known for its peaceful nature under this Left front government.”
Besides, talking over the recent clashes took place at Bishalgarh town where the BJP vice President Subal Bhowmik targeted the state finance minister Bhanulal Saha, Dhar claimed, “The BJP is simply moving towards assassination and targeting of personal character rather than fighting politically.”
However, later in the press conference Dhar urged upon the common people of the state not to put ear on any rumours which are trying to destabilize the peaceful environment of the state in wake of the ensuing poll.
