BJP-bound Ratan Lal Nath blames Left for avoiding centre’s prospect towards untrained teachers

AGARTALA:

As the centre has asked the state governments of the nation to not allow any in-service untrained teachers until they enroll themselves from pursuing diploma in elementary education, the BJP-bound leader and former opposition leader of Tripura Ratan Lal Nath on Monday slammed the Left front government of the state for not acting positive till date towards enrolling untrained teachers in the state.

Nath pointed out, “The Centre has already issued a letter to the state government here on August 3 asking it to take the entire responsibility and get all the untrained teachers trained by March 2019 or else their service would be dismissed from 1st April 2019.”

“In this connection the Tripura Left front government seems to be have taken no positive steps till date,” adding to this Nath said, “In its letter to the state, centre has also indicated that this would be the last opportunity for the governments failing which the services of all the teachers who are yet to pursue teachers training would be dismissed from 1st April 2019.”

However, Nath warned that unless the state government takes initiative for saving the jobs of teachers a critical situation will emerge in the state.
