Deputy Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen inaugurated District Disability Rehabilitation Centre at Dharmanagar for two days in a month today. DDRC will remain open at the subdivision on first Monday and third Monday of every month at Dharmanagar District Hospital.
Among others DM of North district Ravel Hemendra Kumar, DM of Unakoti district Rabindra Reang, District Education Officer Barun Das, North District Secretary of DDRC Sandipak Roy were present in the programme.
From now on certificate will be provided to physically challenged persons after checking from Dharmanagar District Hospital. The certificate which was available from Kailashahar will now be available at Dharmanagar.
Expressing reaction Deputy Speaker said, I am satisfied and happy by inaugurating the centre for physically challenged persons as representative of State Government.
