Speaking to media on the issue Secretary of BSC Kajal Pal said, “our forefathers purchased the land before 40 to 50 years and we are staying there till now. It was unknown to us what kind of act was prevailing at that time. We want to stay there strengthening friendship between tribal and non-tribal.
A section of agent has filed case against grandsons and granddaughters of the owners to uproot us from the land”.
He further said, “We are noticing that a notice of eviction has given to the tenants. It is nothing but harassment. We raised the matter to the SDM”
He said, we noticed that the complainants of case sold the land to the previous owners in exchange of money from where the owners were evicted.
We have seen that have not registered the land after selling in exchange of money. He raised question, why should we take responsibility if our forefather make anything wrong. He said, we will continue agitation irrespective of party and opinion as long as Section 187 will not be amended. He threatened to start greater agitation BSC if any more notice goes to anyone.
