CHURAIBARI:

The villagers of Fulbari caught a baby deer from the Reserve Forest of Churaibari and handed over it to staffs of Forest department today.

The fawn started to run when the villagers attempted to catch it at Reserve Forest of Uttar Fulbari. At last they succeeded to catch it by making a cordon in the area.

On being informed Ranger of Forest department Amiyo Sutradhar along with other staffs rushed there and brought the fawn under control of Forest department. The fawn was sent to Roa Sanctuary after preliminary treatment.

The villagers set an instance by returning the fawn when forest animals are on the verge of abolition along with trees which are being smuggled regularly.
