Azad Hind anniversary observed

AGARTALA:

To mark the 75th anniversary of Azad Hind Sarkar which was officially taken oath on October 21, 1943 last at Rangoon, Netaji Subhas Mission and Azad Hind Samity of Agartala today organized two separate programs at Bordowali and RMS Chowmuhani.

Arjun Datta of Netaji Subhas Mission while talking to the newspersons informed, this is a decentralized event organized here along with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who dedicated the day commemorating the first “Indian Government”.

On the other hand Azad Hind Samity of Bordwali also observed the day by hoisting national flag. Convener of the organizing committee Sanjit Debnath while speaking to the media persons said, the core agenda of such observances is to ignite the idea of Netaji among the new generation and when it could possibly happen certainly the political uncertainty of the country could be settled down.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also for the first time partaken in such an official celebration and hoisted the National Flag at the Red Fort once again in the year followed by Independence Day on August 15 next.
