In an incident of fire one auto rickshaw gutted at the house of owner at Khowai in last night. Sources said that someone set fire at the auto rickshaw of Sankar Ghosh at ward no-9 under Khowai Municipal Council at 10:30 p.m. yesterday. As a result the auto reduced into ashes within few minutes.
Sources said that Sankar Ghosh and his family members predicted something burning sensing an odor when they were inside the closed room yesterday.
As soon as they opened door they saw 3 to 4 miscreants fled away from the spot.
On being asked about the incident OC of Khowai Krishnadhan Sarkar said, police officers went to the house of Ghosh on hearing the incident of fire. But he refused to file any complain. So no case has been filed after the incident.
