This festival is observed in Tripura Sundari Temple, Matabari. This is one of the fifty-one Hindu pithas of India which is recognised as a holy and sacred place in Tripura. Devotees from both tribal’s and non-tribal observe this festival with great enthusiasm and take bath in the lake of the temple paying their homage to Mother Kali.
Meanwhile almost all the houses are being decorated with lights as the new trends of Diwali in inclined towards lighting up houses with decorative and ornamental lights.
