Agartala Government Medical College and SRL & ICT Laboratory of G.B. Hospital got approval of National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for detection of HIV virus.
AGMC and the laboratory of G.B. Hospital will be recognized as an authentic organization for detection examination and observation of HIV virus from August 30, 2017 to next two years.
It is worthy to mention here that NABL is the highest organization examination of quality of pathological laboratory in India.
From now on there will be question of doubt for HIV detection in state after recognition of AGMC and SRL & ICT (Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre) Laboratory of G.B. Hospital by NABL.
The people of the state will be able to get the facility free of cost from the organizations of the state recognized by all India level Board.
