An 8 members delegation team of Indian Pharmacist Association (IPA) Tripura State Branch placed deputation to Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman on last 16 February 2019 with 10 charter point of demands.
Addressing the media at Agartala Press Club on Wednesday the members stated that with 10 points charter of demands including to give permission to the Pharmacist for writing prescription for Minor Ailments, to introduce graduation course in Pharmaceuticals in Tripura Central University and RIPSAT, to provide loan to the financially weak Pharmacist, to give preference to the Pharmacist for the post of the Community health officer the IAP leadership placed deputation to Health Minister.
The members also announced the names of the President and Secretary to 8 branches of 8 districts in Tripura. They also paid tribute to the slain soldiers who were martyred during the Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
Amir Chandra Das, IPA President West Tripura, Amit Kumar Saha, IPA Dy Secretary Tripura west and others remained present during the press brief at Agartala Press Club.
