64th National School Games: girl’s football stole show

AGARTALA:

The day three of 64th National School Games ended as a victorious one for the Punjab, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Maharastra, Chattishgarh, Assam, Tamilnadu, Meghalaya and Bihar in terms of under-17 Foot Ball Girls championship taken place at notable grounds all over the state.

In the Group-A matches held in Dhalai district ended with one sided results of 01-00 and 09-00 with victories for Punjab and West Bengal over Chandigarh and Andhra Pradesh.

Odisha played draw against Chandigarh in the group-B first encounter with no goals each; whereas Punjab took on Dadra Nagar with victory of 10-00. In the Group-C face-offs Jharkhand girls stole the show with a knocking score card 03-00.

In the same group Maharastra left Madhya pradesh behind winning with the same margin. In the Group-D, E and F matches take place in Sephijala, South Tripura districts Chattisgarh, Assam, Tamilnadu, Meghalya and Bihar won over Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, IPSC, Telangana and Karnataka respectively.
