Fourth Tri -enniel conference of Tripura Government Employees Federation organized at Campus Hall of Congress Bhavan at Post Office Choumuhani today. President of TPCC Birajit Sinha inaugurated the conference in presence of Chief Guest and CLP Leader of Congress Gopal Roy.
President of TEAC Timir Baran Dutta presided over the meeting. Secretary of ATEF was the chief orator of the conference. Besides central leaders and Divisional leaders were also participated in discussion.
Later Chairman, President, Secretary General and Treasurer of TGEF, ATEF and TEAC were nominated unanimously.
Shishirendra Saha selected Chairman, Timir Baran Dutta as president, Kajal Kanti Majumder as Secretary General and Kanu Chandra Das selected as treasurer of TGEF. Besides, Nirmal Kumar Bardhan selected as chairman, Subhra Kanti Chakraborty as president, Shyamal Saha as General Secretary and Santi Bardhan selected as treasurer of ATEF. Despite this Braja Behari Bhattacharjee selected Chairman, Subhas Chandra Das president, Bhabotosh Malakar as General Secretary and Rafiqul Islam selected as treasurer of TEAC.
During conference TGEF decided to organize movement with 15 point charter of demand. The demands are to implement recommendations of 7th Pay Commission immediately without any change, to pay 4 percent pending DA, to provide national scale for teachers of different level in the state and to introduce training incentive for them, to provide pay scale according to higher degree of teachers, to introduce proper transfer policy, to stop corruption in mid-day-meal, to regularize the irregular staffs at different level etc.
