Addressing the program, CM Biplab Kumar Deb urged everyone to make a pledge for making an integral part of daily life. Yoga brings discipline, peace and balance in everyone’s mind. He further stated that Yoga has huge benefits and is in practice for past many years.
The first International Yoga Day function held on June 21, 2015, at Rajpath in the national capital witnessed Narendra Modi performing Yoga along with over 200 million people across the country and over 37,000 people in Delhi alone. This year PM Modi led an estimated 50, 000 volunteers to mark the fourth anniversary of International Yoga Day at Dehradun, FRI.
