Three leftist organizations of the state will organize road and rail blockade in the state on June 16 in protest against the killing of farmers at Mandasore of Madhya Pradesh.
They will burn effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on same issue. The leaders of Tripura Upajati Ganamukti Parishad, Tripura Kshet Majur Union and Kishan Sabha announced this decision at a press conference held at CPI-M Headquarter of Melarmath today.
Speaking on the occasion the leaders said that the leftist organizations would organize rally on June 16 keeping parity with other states of the country. They strongly condemned the murder of farmers by the firing of police.
President of Kishan Sabha Narayan Kar said, the farmers all over the country have become aware on being informed about the killing of farmers by police. Although the nationalized banks have pending loan of lakhs of crore rupees to the corporate sector, the government is not waiving loan of farmers. The farmers are not getting minimum support price of crops from the government. The government is not keeping words after assurance. So movement of farmers is getting momentum in protest of all injustice. So a protest rally will be organized by three leftist organizations on June 16.
