There are two subdivisions under West Tripura Lok sabha Constituency in Gomati district. The number of voters in the district under West constituency is 1,99,706 including 1,01,139 male and 98,867 female, said DM of Gomati district while briefing media at a press conference held at his office today.
Giving the break up of polling booths DM said, among 182 booths in the subdivision 63 are Vulnerable, 3 are Vulnerable and critical both while 178 are normal booths.
Besides, there are two subdivisions in Gomati including Amarpur and Karbook subdivision, which are under East Tripura ST reserved Loksabha constituency. The number of voter under East constituency under the district is 1,13,888 including 57,361 male and 56,527 female voters. Altogether 153 booths of East are in the district including 49 vulnerable and 104 normal booths. There are 18 sector officers under the constituency.
DM further said, 2549 polling staffs under West and East constituency have been trained in the meantime.
