The tournament will be held in both Under 14 and Under 17 categories. Tripura will also take part in the tournament and the team has been announced yesterday by State School Sports Board secretary Dhirendra Choudhury.

Total prize money for this tournament will be Rs 30,000 as the best chess player will be awarded with Rs 6,000. Top 10 chess players in the tournament will be awarded with prizes.
As a part of the activities Tripura chess club has decided to organize an All Tripura Open Prize Money Chess Tournament at Tripura Student’s Health Home, on October 28 and 29.

Arunika lost in both seventh and eighth round of the match as after these two back to back losses Arunika has the same 4.5 points.
Another chess player of the state Muskan Debnath ended at 99th position with 4 points in the tournament. In the Boy’s section Anurag Debnath took part and got 105th place with 5 points.
With 28 moves Arunika stopped Manoj. Matrix chess academy owner cum Coach Prasenjit Datta congratulated Arunika for this brilliant start in the tournament.
To get good result in this tournament Arunika and Abhigyan has been taking part in practice session at Matrix Chess Academy which has been started by Fide Master Prasenjit Datta.
On the other hand Parthajit Saha will take part in Nitai Ghosh Memorial Rating chess tournament which will be held at Jalpaiguri from October 7-11.
This academy is the branch of Chess academy which has been run by Prasenjit at New Delhi. In three categories Prasenjit guided the players today as he will continue till October 4.
At the academy in Agartala the players will be trained by Rajdip Das of Assam and Bapi Deb of Tripura while Prasenjit will come frequently to train the players of the state.
Prasenjit Datta will train the chess players in a six day camp which will be held from September 20-25.
The camp will start from 3.00 pm and after the completion of the camp between the players some matches will be held and the winners will be awarded.
